Marathon Finance 2022
Brief
Marathon Finance needed help to convey the sense of trust and stability that their financial services impart to their clients. Since their services are so varied, they asked me to design a mark that could be added to, to use as sub-marks for different departments. The first – Marathon Tax – is shown, but the main logo was designed to be able to add more in the future.

The Antics Thrift Co. 2020
Brief
I was asked to establish The Antics Thrift Co. as an eclectic and friendly place to shop for recycled, up-cycled, and select local artesian goods, and as an ambassador for Welland, the Niagara Region, and Canada. Clean and bright; a timeless, classically modern aesthetic that looks as though it has a history. Bold enough to stand against the eclectic wares at the shop, and not so clean as to be sterile or stiff, but with a touch of heritage.

Brief
Low Voltage Network Cabling Company. Very strong, bold look requested, to back up the feeling of stability and solidness to be “The Backbone Of Your Business”.

David Bowie
Valkyrie Harper 2013
Brief
In 2013 I decided to do my own thing for a while and focused on selling my own art. I started an online store full of self-screened T-shirts, hand drawn and silk-screened notebooks, pins and posters. I knew I wanted a mark that would change and grow with me, and crafted an ambigram that says my pseudonym no matter which way you turn it. Branding myself in this way was a lot of fun, but it also taught me a lot about the nature of branding, having that mirror turned back on me. This is a small selection of the collateral I accumulated while running this shop. It was retired in 2016.

Heart-Cor asked me to position them as a trustworthy source of first aid training, with one core tenet: Strengthen you heart, lengthen your life.

American International Pictures 2009
Brief
As a student at OCAD, I was asked to revive a brand that was popular in the 50’s, 60’s or 70’s. This is the time span in which American International Pictures was in operation, specializing in Sci-fi B-movies and horror. For it’s resurrection, it would be a studio specializing in thrillers and atmospheric films, drawing new talent and rising directors.

The Toronto Archives 2009
Brief
For my senior graphic design thesis project at the Ontario College of Art & Design, I decided to rebrand, reorganize and revitalize a hidden treasure: The Toronto Archives. Every piece in this collection is used to show diversity in content while maintaining a strong continuity of design throughout. There are multiple options for many pieces for employees to choose from, an echo of the vast selection of items in the Archives.
